CORALINA ASEGURA QUE NO HA OTORGADO LICENCIA AMBIENTAL PARA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE VÍA EN DUPPY GULLY. *San Andrés Isla, 02 de noviembre de 2022.* Nuestra Corporación para el Desarrollo Sostenible del Departamento Archipiélago de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina – CORALINA, en ejercicio de funciones como máxima autoridad ambiental de la jurisdicción, nos permitimos aclarar a la opinión pública que contrario a las especulaciones a través de las redes sociales frente a un proyecto de obra de pavimentación, esta entidad NO HA AUTORIZADO NI OTORGADO LICENCIA, NI PERMISO, NI VIABILIDAD AMBIENTAL PARA LA PAVIMENTACIÓN DE LA VIA DUPPY GULLY en el marco del proyecto de Mejoramiento y rehabilitación en concreto rígido de vías rurales priorizadas en el plan vial (Four Corner, Pepper Hill tramo 1, Duppy Gully, Orange Hill) en la isla de San Andrés”. Lo anterior puede ser constatado en los pronunciamiento oficiales, oficio con radicado 20222101096 del 07 de Julio de 2022 en respuesta a oficio radicado entrada 20221100903, y oficio 20222101645 del 21 octubre de 2022 en respuesta a oficio radicado entrada 20221101835, para lo cual la entidad dio respuesta al CONSORCIO PAVIMENTACION SAN ANDRES, ejecutor de la obra. Es de recordar que nuestra Corporación para el Desarrollo sostenible, dentro de su misionalidad, debe administrar, proteger y recuperar el medio ambiente del Departamento mediante la aplicación de tecnologías apropiadas dirigidas al conocimiento de la oferta y la demanda de los recursos naturales renovables, propendiendo por el desarrollo humano sostenible e involucrando a la comunidad para que, de manera concertada y participativa, se mejore la calidad de vida de la región. ———————— *INFORMATION FOR THE PUBLIC OPINION* *San Andres Island, November 2, 2022.* Our Corporation for the Sustainable Development of the Departmental Archipelago of San Andres, Providence, and Santa Catalina – CORALINA, in exercise of its functions as the highest environmental authority of the jurisdiction, we are clarifying to the public opinion that contrary to speculation through social media regarding a paving project, this entity HAS NOT AUTHORIZED OR GRANTED A LICENSE, PERMIT, OR ENVIRONMENTAL VIABILITY FOR THE PAVING OF DUPPY GULLY ROAD within the framework of the Improvement and rehabilitation in rigid concrete of rural roads prioritized in the road plan (Four Corner, Pepper Hill section 1, Duppy Gully, Orange Hill) on the island of San Andres.” The foregoing can be verified in the official pronouncement, official letter with filing number 20222101096 of July 7, 2022, in response to official letter with filing entry number 20221100903, and official letter 20222101645 of October 21, 2022, in response to official filing letter number 20221101835, for which the entity gave response to the SAN ANDRES PAVEMENT CONSORTIUM, who is the executor of the work. It is worth remembering that our Corporation for Sustainable Development, within its mission, must manage, protect, and recover the environment of the Department through the application of appropriate technologies designed at knowing the supply and demand of renewable natural resources, tending to sustainable human development and involving the community so that in a concerted and participatory manner, the quality of life in the region is improved.
