Más de 400 toneladas en materiales para la reconstrucción llegaron en los últimos días al Centro de Acopio ubicado en el viejo coliseo de Black Sand Bay en el sector de Free Town, los cuales fueron traídos en diferentes embarcaciones de gran calado procedentes de ciudades como Cartagena y Barranquilla.
#FreddySerrano quien está a cargo de los materiales; aseguró que con respecto a las maderas cuentan con un stock de 5000 listones de 2×6 y 2×4, que están siendo adecuados para su entrega.
Así mismo añadió que “en materia de cubiertas tenemos un stock de 2500 tejas de cuatro metros, y 2000 de 3 metros suficientes para cubrir las necesidades por el momento”.
Como obtener los materiales
Por otra parte las personas que requieran materiales deberán dirigirse a las oficinas de UNRGD ubicada en el primer piso del Hotel Morgan en el sector de Fresh Wáter Bay, y luego esperar la visita en su predio de los ingenieros de la Unidad, quiénes se encargarán de elaborar el listado de el tipo de materiales que requiere el solicitante para su vivienda.

#Freddy Serrano, who is in charge of the materials, stated that there is a stock of 5.000 planks of 2×6 and 2×4, ready for delivery. «For roofing we have a stock of 2.500 sheets of four meters, and 2.000 of three meters, which is sufficient to cover our needs for the moment».

Anyone who needs material should go to the UNGRD Office on the first floor of the Morgan Hotel in Freshwater Bay, then wait for the Unit’s engineers to visit the property and make a list of the materials needed for the house.
